Sights from the Big Sandy Machine gun Shoot

What an exciting day. Eat your heart out peoples republic of California. The Big Sandy Machine Gun Shoot. You won’t be seeing any of this action in your commie state.

But here in Arizona( America ) what a great thing to see and actually do. One vender was there renting some outstanding machine guns. 50 & 30 cal. belt fed, a belt fed Russian gun and an assortment of smaller weapons. M16, AK47, Uzi, and a few otheres. Prices were reasonable. 60 cents a round for the 30 cal. 4 bucks a round for the 50. 20 bucks a magazine for the smaller weapons. All in all a wonderful day in Wikieup Arizona. They have the shoot in March and October. I will definatly be back. R. Lee Ermey ( Gunny ) was there with a film crew filming for his new show coming out on the History Channel called Lock N’ Load. He was a nice guy and really nice to everyone. We didn’t stick around for the night shoot but come October, we will.

This is the first thing you saw walking up on the firing line.

These are the remote control planes that were flown out in front of the firing line for everybody to shoot at. I’ll bet thousands and thousands of rounds were fired to bring these planes down. They were fast and small.

Where’s the Dillon Aero badboy gun?

  3. prescottshooters Says:

Dillon Aero? That’s the main reason I went. It had engine trouble and they cancelled. Every one was bummed. I’m going again in October and maybe they’ll be back. I would love to see that thing in action.
