Great day for a shooting match here in Prescott. Actually, 12 miles west of Prescott. 25 or so shooters showed up and we all had a great time. 6 stages. Our squad was Dagny and I, Frank and Barb, Nat, and Dane. Here’s a few pictures of us shooting today.

IDPA match this weekend. May 9th. Second Saturday of every month. Come on out and shoot with us.
Another patriotic day in Prescott Arizona. Patriots Day 2009. Master of ceremonies was Charly Gullet of The American Gunshop. Good turnout. Would have liked to see about 3,000 more people. A lot of great speakers on hand. There was Alan Korwin, author of Arizona Gun Owners Guide. He gave a rousing speech. That guy should be our next Governor. He was a terrific speaker with so much good information to share. A lot of others whose names I didn’t get. The second amendment was brought up a lot. Saw a lot of open carry on the square ( myself included ). Here’s a few pics.

My partner in crime, Dagny.

This was our local Prescott Tea Party. About 2000 concerned Prescott citizens showed up to protest the wasteful spending by our government. A lot a great speakers were on hand. Here’s a few photo’s.

One of many beautiful flags on display.

One of my favorite flags.

Notice open carry. Welcome to America.
What an exciting day. Eat your heart out peoples republic of California. The Big Sandy Machine Gun Shoot. You won’t be seeing any of this action in your commie state.
But here in Arizona( America ) what a great thing to see and actually do. One vender was there renting some outstanding machine guns. 50 & 30 cal. belt fed, a belt fed Russian gun and an assortment of smaller weapons. M16, AK47, Uzi, and a few otheres. Prices were reasonable. 60 cents a round for the 30 cal. 4 bucks a round for the 50. 20 bucks a magazine for the smaller weapons. All in all a wonderful day in Wikieup Arizona. They have the shoot in March and October. I will definatly be back. R. Lee Ermey ( Gunny ) was there with a film crew filming for his new show coming out on the History Channel called Lock N’ Load. He was a nice guy and really nice to everyone. We didn’t stick around for the night shoot but come October, we will.

This is the first thing you saw walking up on the firing line.
